Going to Berlin 14-19th of December. Just wondering who's been and where you recommend viewing and doing? Also where did you stay?

Stay in Mitte, somewhere near alexanderplatz. December has Christmas markets and then buy a guide book or google on all the stuff to see eg. Wall, checkpoint Charlie etc

Lucky man, go see the Reichstag and look at the bulletholes and Russian graffiti at the top, same goes for the Brandenburg gate. Find Hitlers bunker, checkpoint Charlie.

Maybe read 'Berlin 1945 by Antony Beaver' before you go and follow the footsteps of the Russian army

as ollie said def check out the reichstag, brandenburg gate, wahts left of the wall. checkpoint charlie is always gd as is hitlers bunker
but top of my list is actually 35km outside of berlin, Sachsenhausen concentration camp what a place
also the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church shows what our allied bombers did to germany lol
the allied museum is great tells so much detail about the allied troops marching in to berlin in 1945 also start of the cold war.
the ddr museum has a exhobishion about life in gdr (russion side of the wall )
and finally the german-russian museum or German-Russian Museum Berlin-Karlshorst
has many things bout the russian lines and the german assults on russian occupied territory

i have seen all thsi as lived there when i was younger was about 7 when the berlin wall came down lived there till i was 9 been back many times

Doesn't it have any places to go if you're NOT a Nazi fetishist?
