Anton, what engine do you have?
I have a/c in a 1.4 16v, it drains so much power when driving round town that I only use it on the motorway where you dont need the engines full power!
If you have a small engine I wouldnt bother

saying it would cost alot to have the kit resprayed ,it is goin in for alot of work very soon.
this would be new back, front ,boot ,spoiler

still think it would cost to much to change cars though .might have to just cope without
