i tend to just use a normal decent degreaser, works pretty well

ive got some gunk actually never considered it on silicone. will go give it a bash cheers barnshaw.

I wouldnt use gunk Nic personally. I've used it on the past on normal hoses and it left a wierd reaction on them
I just use an all purpose cleaner on mine and they come up like new everytime

I use autoglym cleaner it's very good!
You can use water in a rag with bit more effort

Anything like WD40 is great, just spray and wipe off with a rag.
