That time of year has come again when I have to reinsure the Mazda.
Part of me wants to take it off the road, refund the tax (£80) and reinsure/tax it April time. The other half of me thinks meh forget it and reinsure it. I've had quotes of around £450 for the year to reinsure it which is cheaper than the £585 I paid for 10 months worth in Feb.
As it's 20 years old (J plate, 1990/1), I wondered if I'd be eligible for classic car insurance, and, if so, any recommendations who with?
Thanks

It's finding someone that'll insure a 22 year old that seems to be the issue

Didn't think you could get classic insurance until you were 25? Either way personally I'd take it off the road til the sunny weather comes back.

yup, most classic insurance places (hagerty etc) will prob want you to be 30.
I had the 911 with Hagerty for £130 until they charged their age policy to 30+ and Fee couldnt get insured! Its now with Lancaster I think and about £200.
Its for an agreed £14000, 30yr old car
