http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvZtFUJHFV0&feature=feedu

Here's his build thread too if anyone is interested, good read of about 50 pages!!

my dream is to get a Haybusa kit car then eventually turbo it.

Just read last 6/7 pages, looks awesome but scary! Bit of a shit question but do you know how much power it's running now that the cooling has been sorted?

I think on the video it was running low boost but the maximum the engine has run is around 500bhp I think. Not sure what power it makes on low boost though?

Once my extension goes up and I have a garage I'm seriously tempted to build another one but with a car engine this time instead of a bike engine. Dont think the bike engined cars are very good on the road and after about 100mph they struggle.

That's nuts in something that light, imagine full boost at 500bhp+ mid corner I suppose that's why it's sideways/facing the wrong way altogether in every other photo

Did you have one of those MK Indy jobby's, vaguley remember it (and some dodgy 3 wheelers etc)? Di you get rid because of it being gutless over a ton?!

Yeah we built an MK Indy with an R1 engine in it (excuse the wheels on the pic, we just used them to move the car around on) Just wasn't keen on the bike engine in a car, I just dont think the running gear, clutches etc are designed to carry the weight of a car and feed two wheels via a diff! We had trouble with the clutch even after we uprated it and we also smashed third gear a couple of times too. I think next time I might do an NA 2 litre on throttle bodies get it around 200bhp and keep it light!

Yeah had a Robin Reliant briefly too!

Looks OK in the pic but I think if I did it again I would do quite a few things different. Nice little kit for the money though, would probably use MK again as a base for my next one
