from halifax due to an error they made on my mortgage for 2.5k anyone else had this?

I'd use that cash to overpay on my mortgage for a few months tbh, rather then just spunking it.

im with halifax and its just gone down by £100 a month

would be nice if they said that £100 per month shouldnt have been charged to me for past 2 years but i highly doubt that will happen

you should recieve a letter exspaining it all, they will off paid the money into your mortgage account reducing you payments, as i dont have mine with halifax anymore they sent me a cheque but you can still request them to send you a cheque and they will within 14 days.
