Picked up a new slim matt finish 360 on Friday only to pick up the 4GB hard drive one  never noticed until everything was set up and forza was installed 
Is there any way of using my old 250gb hard drive from my old chunky 360? Transfer cable connected to old hard drive into new 360 work?
dont really fancy going out spending £60 on a hard drive

bet you thought you'd got a great deal 
i think you can crack open your 250gb and put it in the slim if you pad it out

Just had a quick look on youtube, seen a few clips about using all hard drive with the new 250bg case that you can pick up for pennys.
May give it a go

You don't even need a case or padding, it just slots in no problem. You just need a torx screwdriver to open your old one.

Placed an order lastnight for a case, Will update on how i get one once it arrives
Just need find some torx screwdrivers
