Pros & Cons of both?
I have a Samsung Netbook atm which has been fantastic the last couple of years but is starting to slow up now, Only really use it for surfing the net which mainly consists of forums,ebay,facebook,twitter etc.
Would an iPad/Playbook be suitable for this or be any better than a netbook?

the ipad is up to the task, with good apps for facebook twitter and ebay and the browser is great for a portable. no flash though.
no experience of the blackberry but i think the screens smaller? limited apps as well but theyre a fair bit cheaper

i bought an ipad2 a few weeks ago and its really good ive got sky go on it so i can watch the football when im at my girlfriends, you can buy an app off the app store and its a different web browser so you can watch things that need flash
i got mine off gumtree, went and picked it up its a ipad 2 32 gb wifi model, its 6 months old not a mark on it and i paid £300 for it the same ipad on ebay are going for £400

Put it this way, RIM have just had to take a massive charge to their P&L as they cant shift what little they made of them
IIRC analysts prediceted 2m shipments in the first quarter follwoign release, revised down to 500k
