Id rather we armed Ghadaffi and got the money for our economy, rather than it be French/USA/German and we then have to enter combat against weapons we havent already got full knowledge of and received no fiduciary contribution from.

I am also English, what with being born in England and everything. Law or not, the union jack is basically the same as the Euro flag.
