Been after a bose dock ever since they first came out and i had an iphone.

Never been able to justify the price, so me and missus decided to get one today for xmas present for the house.

Amazing sound via bluetooth. Compared to the beats by dre big old sound dock, its far better and 100 quid cheaper.

Only reason we went for this over the normal sound dock at £199, was due to the 8 hour battery life, and the portability.

Highly recommended.

Should add, we went out to buy an ipad, but after spending half hour looking at them and thinking we wouldnt gain anything over our laptop and iphones, we changed the plan

We have the non portable bose sound dock, its too big and heavy to be called 'portable' IMO anyway. Like you say, great sound, never really have it up more than half volume with living in a Semi.

Also use my iPad more than my laptop but do continue to use both, I'm not sure its intended as a full replacement.

I wasn't sure about the sound on the battery powered one. The premium dock sounded a lot better, ended up with a sonos s5 instead.

They had the wireless one along with the normal docks at 199 and 399. The wireless sounded Alot better than the 199 IMO and equal to the 399.

It's the portability I like over the others tbh
