Just get a HDD from one of the old xbox's, they're only cheap now.
I too bought a 4GB xbox and have since bought a 60GB drive for a tenner from one of the old xbox's since some games now require them to be installed (like BF3).
Then all you do is open up the casing of the old drive and it should then simply slot into the side of your new xbox.

Apparently you don't need any more than 4gb

You dont pull it to bits, theres a little cover that just pops off, the hard drive plugs in and you replace the cover. No screws or anything.

Think adam means because it's FAT, which means no one file will be bigger than 4GB. I'm not sure you can isntall games on it tho, unless they changed that?
With regards to game saves, a HDD is pointless now since cloud storage is available.
