If you already have a policy, it works out much cheaper to add another car to that temporarily.

But, otherwise just google day insurance or temp cover and you'll see a few sites. It's not cheap though.

How does the new no tax with no insurance thing affect this

Like for example if i wanna use my corsa for a week or month or so, would i have to get a cover note on it. Go the post office, un-sorn it, tax it then drive it for the month or week, then re-sorn it when my insurance is up after that week? :/

You don't have to un-sorn anything, taxing the car makes it un-sorn, re-insuring the car makes it un-sorn.

Just get insured, get your tax and drive it!

When you're taking it off the road again, then you declare it sorn again.
