National gallery, all advance tickets sold out. Had to get up at 5:30am to get here for 7:45. Que wasn't too bad so we made it in as like number 151 & 152. So got tickets. Was expensive but worth it. I'm a bit of an art ignoramus but Mrs Jambo is mad on it. So it was a real eye opener for me, plus I love anything historic or old anyway. Seeing up lose hand sketches on a small a5 peice of parchment signed Leonardo da vinci is pretty special.
Knackered now having lunch in T.Square
Love London

I went yesterday.... Anyone else actually been? I was astounded/confused/slightly annoyed, at how many the bloody queen owns. All of the ones she owns had her printed stamp in the corner, which slightly ruined the individual pieces.
Was very interesting, though, and certainly pretty amazing to see so many in one place, likely to never happen again. Would of liked to have seen the Mona Lisa, but that was obviously impossible to get on loan, so perhaps a visit to The Louvre next year is in order.
