Just a heads up for everyone, Castrol GTX is on offer at £10 for 4 litres in Asda. Plenty of stock of 5/30 and 10/40

yeah but most cars take arround 4.5litres so you need to either buy there 1litre top up for £7 or buy another 4 for £10

gtx is mineral oil.
only good for old stuff. mk2 ford fiesta etc

i know and i work there so get 10% discount on that normally

when i got my xmas discount its double so £8 for 4l's


i can also get 1 Imperial gallon of fully synthetic stuff for £15 (not from asda though )

10w-40 is semi synth, perfect for Corsa B/C.

GTX is semi synthetic. Castrol Classic is the mineral based stuff. GTX is is A3 and B4 grade oil which is spec'd for modern engines, both petrol and diesel so its fine for use with most cars on this website

Used GTX in my Corsa, was fine.
Got some in my 206 too iirc.

looking at it, if it doesnt say part sythetic on the bottle its mineral,
there are diffrent types. some are, part synthetic, some arent.

And rotaries. Can't use synthetics. It's about the only cheap thing you can buy relating to RX7s...
