25th to 27th March, best option?

staying 2 night/3 days

usually just drive up and stay in midle but its getting mega expensive now

park and ride free? safe enough? best one coming from the south?

Train prices are a joke concidering its 2 hours away, bus times are no good either

Train prices are a joke unless you book in advance.

I found tickets to be less than half the price if you book 2 weeks+ in advance. Boom, no car...

What hotel are you staying in buddy? Roughy, if coming from the South then Sheriffhall park and ride is probs your best bet however you could easily park off Minto Street which free and about 10 mins in a bus (with loads of buses to choose from) for free?

We recently stayed for a few nights and just used public transport from our overnight stay point.

Any single bus journey is £1.30 OR £3.30 for a day ticket.
We saved a fortune doing that rather than parking in the city centre and the buses are regular too with multiple buses going to most stops.
