never had one, mate sold me his 03 plate vtr for 300 quid, black, cd player hu, clifford alarm etc

going to pick it up tonight, plans are to track it or sell on if i end up working away this year

never even sat in a saxo in my 11 years of driver, never owned a citreon either until last month when i bought a picasso lol

How come so cheap?
Only Saxo I have driven was my mates piece of shit 1.1L. Slower than my Corsa 12v
Was thinking of a VTR as my next car.

has koni adjustables, clifford 650 alarm, stealth shelf (proper one),stainless exhaust and green air cone, oh and sony cd player and 6x9s too

also got the standard bits too and a tank of jiuce

mot/tax til may/april time

not seen it in the light but drives ok

ps - guy owned it since new, nothing wrong with it. in black, spotless inside

bought a picasso last month too, 04 reg 2.0 top spec for 600 odd quid, just a good time to buy and sell once weathers a bit better

I was looking at them as a cheap run around, i was shocked at how much the insurance was and im 28 with 9 years NCB!! was still like 400 odd quid!

Good price that.

Would still fetch 1k easy.

I had a P2 Vtr, loved it for a week, then started hating it. Was just a proper shit built car. Not ideal for a daily if you like something with at least an average comfort rating.

got the original paperwork when he bought it new - 10 grand worth!

hes drove it 8 and a half years!

Ive got the e46 convertible as my daily drive and 500 abarth too, but never had it on track

Must have been broken then as imo a 1.1 saxo is surprising quick for what it is, i had a mates 03 saxo 1.1 for a week and it had no problem reaching a ton.
