ive done a few bits for a few people, no problems that i know of.
as ian said make sure it is spotless.
what has it been blasted with? stuff like sand and glass arent as bad as steel. but doubt it would have been done with steel coz it looks shit

with the take up of sodablasting in the Uk after it came over from the US you'd be mad to use sand or shot media for blasting engine componants

like when something has been chemically dipped, no signs of any media damage/marks at all, which is a by product of how the soda media works as it relies on the media beeing active and not just friction at high pressure

But when you rebuild an engine, all the parts (even the brand new ones) go for a proper scrub in a parts washer before being assembled. Right?

done loads of bits for mine and other peoples cars, fine if you make sure its clean, if you burn it off before you blast it then theres no chance of any media sticking to anything
