Why have a 1.6 turbo and get shit brakes?

Doesnt make sense to me. We get people in work who want budget shit tyres for top end Audi/VWs

My rule is dont scrimp on tyres or brakes.

oh and the exact same part by the same company might be 20 quid in one place and 40 quid in another shop

doesnt mean theres a differenc e in quality, just being savvy

I work in a garage... they are poor poor makes but i suppose he did say he wants cheap as pos.

Just giving my 2p worth. Its mad how many customer at work have cars worth 30-50k and want cheap shit. winds me up.

serious! sorry to thread crash. i cant remember if it was on here, sure it was though....
Ferrari 360, some accountant guy told the garage to fit the cheapest things they could find and when he heard how much they were he said fit bus ones then because im not paying that

Mintex are fine. TBH Euro crap parts do Pagid brakes... they are oe spec. They are good brakes.

i work for euro. get pagid front discs(oe) pagid fr& rr pads(oe) and snr rr discs are oe discs with oe bearings in them. order online and use promo code xmasbrake30 and you get 30% off!

As much as you'd like to think it does It really doesnt make that much of a difference on a familly hatch back.
