hi all, just signed up on here and thought i would post a project thread

im currently on my second corsa
heres the first who will be missed



here's my current one






its got a 1.6 with a homemade powerbox on it , looking at doing more to the engine soon
and before anyone asks i havnt got a clue what make the wheels are they were on it when i bought it
any comments welcome

Looks good so far Wheels are definately marmite but they look kind of cool!

Looks really smart mate, im sure ive seen it somewhere. Dont know if it was advertised on the internet at some point? Personally i like the wheels, its good to be different...

thought i would update this seen as i havnt been on here in ages.

summer of last year the car began overheating really badly so i decided to take it off the road and start repairing it.

first thing to do was the water pump,but it had stuck itself into the block pretty well......nothing a hammer coudnt sort out though



and eventually it came out



after that i started to strip everything down and tidy it up a bit



painted the rocker cover and powerbox





then made one of these to get rid of the SAI



soon had the engine bay looking like this





then the bumper and arches came off so i could underseel everything and change brakes and bushes













went about making my own set of depos, fair play to vauxhall, whatever they stuck the headlights together with did not want to come apart



gave the wheels a little polish



and eventually she ended up back on the road



then like any good car a month later the headgasket blew....oh the joys

so i took the head off and found out here was a lovely hole on the head



so i got myself a new one of these





eventually got it all rebuilt





now hopefully nothing else will go wrong

got a janspeed 4-2-1 and a bracket to take my aircon off coming aswell so hopefully more updates soon

yeah used to pass it on the way to work..looking good mate. will have to sort a south wales meet up when the weathers better
