Im deffinately getting a 2ltr conversion now but im still not sure what engine to use.what engine does everyone else use? i want about 150bhp standard. The other thing i need to know is what else can i do to the car to get it up to about 200bhp? i was thinking of induction kit, exhaust, uprated cam and a superchip. what kind of power will i get from these and how much will it all cost me?

I'd set ur eyes on jsut the conversion before u go for more bhp

U will need an 20XE or C20XE. Difference being the C20 has a cat.

Ind kit, nope, go for a force fed ind kit like the PiperX ram air thingy (about £250). That, cams, and chipped should see around 165-175bhp. Will set u back about £1k after fitting.

2.0 16v from astra gte, calibra cavalier.

throttle bodies and cams would get it near 200bhp.

but if u want that much power why not go for the c20let. (2litre turbo) which is 204bhp standard.

i would say just fit the 2lt have fun in that and when you start getting board then start making it go faster, as a 2lt in a corsa is fine for so long

u could allways slap on 50bhp of NOS on top of the 2.0 16v = 200ish bhp, more like 190 tho
