Never seen those before! Seen the little black bits that go over the door shut bit though, they seem to do the job.

Wont work, because you can only put it at one height, yet if you look at the rear doors of any 4/5dr car they have all different shapes at different heights so could still make contact with your door

theres a X reg bog standard black bora parked almost in the bushes in teesside park everyday with these on the side where people could park next to him, i have a photo somewhere. OCD much?

Never seen them but when I was in NYC a lot of cars there had a cover on the rear bumper to stop little bumps marking the bumper.
