Been put off by the 07 plate. 80k near enough, not had a cambelt or clutch.

By my reckoning its gonna want a belt for peace of mind, and a clutch could be any time. Therefore it needs to be alot lot cheaper to tempt me lol

Just found a real nice 55 plate vectra design locally.

I didn't realise it's actually meant to be better spec electrics wise than the Sri?

Anyone able to tell me the differences? I read Sri has different bumpers and stiffer suspension. Which I'm not fussed about.

Is it a facelift??

Not sure on exact spec, but if its a facelift then the bumpers should be pretty much the same, might have different bumper grilles though but don't quote me on that. On the whole the SRi looks much better with the wheels etc and suspension will be a tad lower.

Did they replace the Elite with the Design or is it just another model??

The SRi isn't actually that well specced other than the nav. (which only comes in the nav version).

Went for this one in the end. Got 600 off the price but I have to service it/fit cambelt.



Really nice car. Immaculate inside and out. Half leather, auto wiper/lights and shed loads of other features.

Are these chips safe? All say around 188hp and 6mpg more. I'd want it more for the mpg tbh

MPG doesn't change much, probably would if you had the box turned down but I've never managed, always turned right up straight away.

They are safe.

That's only 15.5k before its due. Peace of mind means I'll do it now. I'm a mechanic anyway so it's only gonna cost a belt kit and a pump.

What sort of tuning box is best?

What are the TDI Tuning ones? Crap?
