Last time I went looking I gave up. I just wanted a set of black real leather quality boots like the old puma kings / decent Umbros but now there are all flashy colours and often with lots of plastics.
My current pair have lasted 5/6 years. I don't see the plastic ones lasting that long.

I dug out my old red Diadoras from my college days... too small now but cleaned up a treat!

If it's a plain pair of black leather boots you want you can't go wrong with Adidas World Cups. Only thing that's ever changed is the price going up

Played in tons of different boots. Really can't see a difference in £40 F10s and £120 predators.
Waste of money, just buy a comfy pair.

No need for £100 quid boots.
get some of last seasons ones from nike outlet or sports direct. Currently use the following.
ctr 360 (moulded not blades) cost me about 30/40.
t90's (studs) (proper ones with the rubber on front) cost £15 as the nike outlet had a sale, bought a few pairs and sold them on.
prefer the ctr's out of the two but had to wear the t90's yesterday as pitch was really sticky.
Make sure you get ones that fit properly, so they feel like a second skin, should find you have more control over the ball.
Both have been fine for my sunday team and when I was going academy sessions.

Puma Kings with proper studs or moldiws if playing on that astro turf stuff week in week out - anything else is a waste of time.
