I need to renew my licence, I also need to change address.

Will I be able to renew it while changing my address and hence get it for free?

I don't have a passport issued in the last 5 years so doesn't look like I can do the renewing online.

Anybody tried it or will I just have to pay to renew my photo and get the address changed with that?

I can't see you getting around the fee like that tbh, if you sent it in with a change of address and a photo without the fee, I'd guess they'd change the address and send the rest back.

I got a photo one when I moved and they didn't charge me.

Pic was off the passport, not sure if you'll be able to do that.

Tried it again when I left my paper counterpart on the table at a show but they didn't have any of me moving from one spelling of my address to another

I got a replacement photocard, change of address and 10 year update in one hit, only paid the one fee.

Also - tell them you've lost it and you don't have to send it back. If you still claim to have any of it it needs returning.

I've done that before, that cost money as well.

I'll just renew it and pay the fee I suppose

Really need a passport as well so that'll be 100 quid for not very much.

Yes you can I did this a few weeks ago. Had the licence back in about 4 days.

Did you do it online with a valid passport or did you fill in forms and post?

I also need to renew mine and change adresse. Ive also lost the paper part so gonna have to pay a fee 1 way or another.

Didn't even fill any forms in, just sent it back and wrote the new address in the new address bit.. New one came back.

I've got to change the address on mine and the picture needs updating in 2 years.
Can I do both at the same time or can I only have a new picture when the old one expires?
