Well, first let's do a quick summary of last season's prep:

Add in an engine rebuild and that pretty much sums up a "character building" season.

End of the season I sold my car due to unemployment. New job, so, I have taken leave of my senses once again. Used the extra day off from the royal wedding to go down and buy:

Have so far bought the rear wing it needs off eBay, rest to follow.

To do:
- strip interior
- strip suspension
- strip all sound deadening
- strip engine and gearbox out
- weld here'n'there
- install cage and safety equipment
- coilovers
- adjustable rear ARB
- rebuilt engine and gearbox

Couple of days max

Minor update, picked her up today. Cruised home at a decent lick, runs nicely

Picked up a few spare bumpers as well (hopefully won't be needing them soon!)

Big thanks to Crossflags Mini for helping source the car and parts. They're one of the series sponsors this year and its brilliant to have a sponsor on board who are so keen to help us all out and not just paying to put their name on show.

Nice one, my policy on spares is to have a lot so I don't need them.

Got the rear wing. Serious result as theyre not in production anymore. God bless ebay!

First task, swap the mountings round so that it doesnt have a 45deg angle of attack and the aerodynamic profile is actually correct for going through the air forwards.

Nah, not really finished

Postponed the build until this winter, so in the mean time I've hired this for the BTCC support races at Knockhill

In Norway every other week but not on weeks on weeks off so would really be struggling for time to do it properly.

Got a drive lined up with TSR

Be tarting her up after using her a bit for commuting this winter then sticking her on PH. £4k should see her shift quick.
