I have taken the power steering out of my car and now need another engine mount. Do you get a 1.4 or 1.6 16v engine without power steering and/or can i use one from another engine. Does anyone know the part number for the mount. I would think the rubber part in the chassis leg would be the same, Just the mount from engine to chassis is the bit i need.
Can anyone help out?
Cheers
Chris

You can get one without powersteering, why dont you just keep your original mount?

You need one from a 1.4 SRI - around 1995-97 IIRC.

Needs to be late 95 so its a 16v.
SRi or very early Sport - the one with the red stripe on the door before V grill. They're all 1400s. There was no 1600 without PAS.
If you search for Mike's Version II progress thread there's some pics in there as he did that exact same swap.

I think that pic at the bottom of page 15 is the thing you need, it's got a tensioner in so you can leave the alternator as-is.
Mike will probably confirm.
