Haveing the pp next fri, just watched a video on YouTube about it. Has made me feel sick about it now! A

Any one had this op done ?

Yeah had it done in September, and can still feel a little pain. Was on sticks for about 4 weeks, can feel where the pins are.

Yeah 4, went back to work after and the pain for the first week was agony. Try and do the exercise as it works out better for you in the end, i felt like i couldn`t move my leg for about a week.

ive had it done 3 times on same knee basically destroyed mine in a car crash had to have grafts taken from my hamstrings these have now also failed so i am going to be having a full ligament transplant next. The nurses will have you up and walking the same day as your op thats quite scary

I damaged my cruciate knee ligaments playing rugby, absolute bloody killer wouldn't wish it on anyone. I didn't get any crutches or anything just got told to man up basically lol.

Had my op in November had to get a graft from my hamstring as well. Uncomfortable aint the word for the first week or so. Took two weeks off work to basically sit on my arse.

Start gentle riding on a bike this month down the gym to get some strength to it and aid movement etc.

Standing on it for the first time is a daunting experience after the op

i had a liver transplant last year ( not due to drinking) was quite harsh to be honest learning to walk again etc
