12v sounded gay, Was pure airbox induction sound over 4k. I realised it sounded shit after about 2 days of it and got a new airbox.

Can't hear it on the sport with the powerbox. Was a bit of induction noise with the standard inlet but mostly drowned out by exhaust.

Won't make it any quicker, Just might give the impression of being faster as its louder.

Gav maybe means afm?

I stuck a cone filter on my gf's old 1.0L GLS and it sounded the business but the eml kept coming on and it felt like it had a massive flat spot, so had to take it back off

Neither did I untill I placed my nearly new oild Simota on the car and have seen the MPG drop and idle speeds increase. All symptoms of an oily MAF>

The EML light came on for me somtimes, wasn't anything to do with the airbox though and didn't seem to effect anything at all.

my integra sounded like a fucking beast if you took the top of the airbox off. i don't know if it was in my head but it felt less responsive on the throttle though

or a different variation of that

i think im going to go the scrappy and get an airbox to drill into from there (not going to go crazy but put a few good holes in it) ahaa, then if things start to mess up i can put the standard one back in with a new panel filter

Just drill a hole in your exhaust about half way down. I got a hole in mine when i had a 12v and it was loud as fuck.

Put a whistle in the hole and everyone will think you have some sort of supercharger. Do that, it will sound like a F1 car.
