Ah ok that makes more sense on the plate side, should of probably said if it's been road registered as they all have to be tested before being made road legal so guessing then they will all have them on

Yeah IVA section 17, must be able to move in a rearward direction under its own power.

That rule only came in to effect in 2009 though.

Ah ok, just spoken the seller and he has confirmed that it hasn't got a reverse gear, so now contemplating whether I could live with that or not. Think it would be a ball ache on occasions you do need to reverse or get out and push
