I know a few of you on here have ink, I'm looking into getting a sleeve in the next year but am currently working out at the gym. I know if I take the weights serious then i'm best waiting to get the tattoo.
If I only plan on a small increase in size but tone up will that stretch the tattoo?

Nope.
I have one full sleeve and one that has all the outline done and there is no stretching.

Cool.
Out of interest, How much did your sleeve cost?

Right arm was £60 an hour and took about 14 hours
Left arm is £80 an hour and so far ive had 6 hours with 9 hours left for the colouring in.

About what I was thinking, How come the difference in hourly rate? Different artist?

Aye, but the other artist is now £80 an hour. Most places will be increasing their prices soon.

I'm not too bothered about the rate as long as it's a quality artist.
Think i'll be getting mine some time around Christmas, Maybe in the new year. Still deciding what to get.

It will all be fine. As long as you don't have any straight lines.
Because they will become warped and out of shape. So just try and not have any straight lines and you will be fine

Its just as common not to get a tattoo as it is getting one.

There are some areas that will stretch/warp such as inner bicep so avoid writing or anything with a uniform or symmetrical pattern such as stars, etc. A design that isnt symmetrical should stretch fine though as the whole area should stretch not just a small part as long as you make sure you work all your arm muscles equally to ensure even growth.

I wouldn't say I regret them, not all of them, but they're just not clever at all imo. Besides, you're a little late to the party imo.

I'm not doing it because it's 'cool' or fashionable.
It's something i've wanted to do for years and will have meaning to me, Not just random art.
