Just downloaded this app for the iPhone. Its pretty cool, tracks your running routes, nutrition etc. Anyone else on it? So far I have one friend on there and he does the same route as me so pretty pointless!

I have been using Strava Cycling app which is really good.
People can set 'segments' on the rides they have done and when you cycle through them it times you and puts you on a leader board.
Last night I cycled up a hill with my mate and when I got home it told me I had done it 16th fastest out of 27 people. Reckon I could get top 10 if I hadn't stopped about 10 metres short of the finish to wait for my friend
Anyway, what I wanted to say was they do a running one too
Is iMapMyFitness the same sort of thing?

GPS rapes my battery on bike rides and phone ends up turning off after about 4 hours. Find them pointless now unless you're wanting to do it quicker than somebody etc.
They're good for running though, just make sure every kind of twist movement is turned off on the phone otherwise you'll be posting shit to facebook and inviting friends to join you on iMapMyFitness etc

Yeh its similar. I think its mainly based for running and jogging. Ha there was a Facebook option which I switched off. Don't want people on there knowing how unfit I am.

Get a Garmin Edge 500 for cycling if phone can't take it battery wise.

Yeah. I want the red and black one but for some reason they want a lot more money for that even though the only difference is the colour
