found a bird broken wing i think . cant fly so was thinking of letting my cat have its way , or just let it go and it will die anyway

Could be a wood pigeon. Either take it to a vet or let nature take it's course.

Leave in the same place you found it, it's mum will look after it. It's still too young to fly.

Let it go or take to vet asap, they go mad if you put it in a box and hope it gets better. I did it with a bird and they told me I could get done for animal cruelty. Best to do nothing was the message I got.

Somebody in work found an injured pigeon a few years back. Arranged for the RSPCA to come pick it up and then placed it in a box until they came. Unfortunately the cleaners were on a mission and threw it in the compactor before the RSPCA arrived
