Bought a DSLR last year (Canon 550D) to take the odd picture or so when I was at paintball, however now that I have stopped playing I've decided to put aside more time for photography.
I've always enjoyed looking at paintball pictures, particularly in a tournament as you can capture some interesting shots... or at least try to... lol
Anyway... here are a few from the weekend. This was my third time using the camera, so still learning loads!!! It was a dark, cold and very very very wet day so conditions where tough, especially when you trying to take pictures through a pair of goggles and whilst you have paintballs flying around lol
The rest of the pictures are on my facebook site facebook.com/44pix

Like a boss.
Looks different to the one I've been to a couple times, I'm sure I've seen a video of a similar layout to the one above - proper hardcore paintballers?

noshua - Scenario Paintball (playing in the woods) is the one which 99% of people will know and have played before, however this is the more sporty/extreme version. Massive in American, and big in most of the main European countries. Also big is Asia. The paintball markers (aka guns) shoot 10-12 bps depending on the tournament. I stopped playing it last year after 4 years, getting too old and it was costing me an arm and a leg lol so starting snapping pictures instead
Here's a video

neoquip - Cheers buddy
Balling - Canon EF-S 55-250mm. Was an ebay job. Needed something with a bit of range on it and this seems to do the trick for the time being
I'm off to the European event at the end of this month, so will try and get some sunny snaps whilst I'm out there

Hey Gary!
Yep... off to St Tropes ha haa
I played a few Masters tourneys when I started out, but went and played over at CPPS and played there since
The pics there are from round 1 of the CPPS
What team did you used to play for buddy? I was with Birmingham Temper last year, but stopped playing now.
