Been looking at Evos lately, hopefully get one later this year or early next year. Just building up some knowledge just now and so I know what to expect. Been looking at Evo 8 MR's and wondering what differences (apart from the obvious 20bhp) is there between the FQ320 and FQ340?
Also from what I have seen, there isnt much of a difference between the 8's and the 9's, slight cosmetic changes?

FQ340 MR's have everything 320's have plus half leather interior and a piggyback ECU.
Main difference with the IX is an 80 series turbo, Mivec (VVT) obviously different bumpers and Ecutek map's. There are lots of differences between the VIII and IX to be fair.

He's not much of a speed demon, he bought a new gsxr1000 anyway.

I'll have another one by the end of this year. I like the look of the front bumper on the 8 over the 9 but I prefer the 9 rear lol. Deffo going for an MR this time as well.

I'll have to see what the price differences are over the 8 and 9 to see if they are worth that wee bit more really. Seen a few for sale with the 9 rear bumper
Think it'll either be a red or gun metal grey MR for me. I have seen one advertised as storm grey, is this right or did he mean gun metal grey as it looked no different from the gunmetal grey ones

If that was later on this year then I wouldve been very interested. Noticed on pistonheads that I just missed a nice spec and priced one in Buckie aswell, typical when its not the right time you see alot of good examples then when Im ready for one I bet there will be none!
