I am thinking of getting a cheap (but reliable) Corsa to use as my works vehicle and have some advertising for my company down the sides of it.
Will probably stick some 15s on it and lower it to make it look a bit nicer but will do no other modifications - I have a car with a V6 engine so I can use that if I want a comfortable, fast car to drive. This is purely a work vehicle which I will use to visit customers in and transport parts in also.
I've owned a Corsa B 1.2 16v in the past and have driven various types of Bs before, but I have no experience of a C.
Is it better to buy a C than a B? Are they better built/more reliable?

Personally I have had a c and 4 bs and I would say that bs are better, didnt like it inside of the c felt to big, but thats only personal preference.

Not a real fan of the c but I think if I were buying one for the same reason as you it would be a c, looks a tad more professional than a b for a business

C for business purposes definitely, B's are looking a bit dated now, I'd say the C looks more professional and I think as much as I love driving B's I'd have another C over a B.

i still think the B looks quite modern, compared to the same year fiestas it looks much newer

C all the way - better to drive in almost every way, newer and imo better looking.
Looks newer and more professional to customers too.
As mentioned though, what about a C or D van?

Vans are cool but commerical tax and business insurance means they can be more expensive overall when compaired to say a C car or D car.
C for what you need.

Not a fan of Ds, or vans for that matter (for the reason Sunz stated mainly...)!
Might start hunting for Cs then if they are better built etc.

i found my 1.2 16v corsa c lifeless and pretty poor to drive. had no feeling to it, the electric steering i thought was awful.

I agree, dire cars. My 1.25 Fiesta Zetec felt like a go kart compared to it.

Not that bothered by stuff like that TBH, it's only a work/transportation car. Just want something cheap and reliable.
I also have Trade Club membership so I'd like to get a Vauxhall for the cheaper service parts

I've had both and I'd say the B was more reliable, but the C is nicer to drive. The C just seems more delicate with a lot more things to go wrong in

This tbh, I went from a B up to a 1.4 exclusiv C and the B felt far better put together. The C used to rattle like sin where as the B was actually surprisingly solid.
That being said how ever, for the exterior looks. If you can get hold of a red exclusiv then your onto a winner. (though I maybe a touch bias)
