Always thought either would be fine, but somebody posted something on here recently and it's made me wonder.

Also passenger side boot keeps needing to e replaced, but drivers has always been fine.

sport ones arent 22 spline
went out and checked the spare sport ones i have laying around when dan was having problems with his shafts

Wow, always thought they were.


So how are so many people doing conversions with such limited amount of gsi's about

Passenger side shafts bolts up etc, boot just keeps comin off repeatably. Confused

they use 1.6 16v sport 22 spline ones

The sport shafts i have had 28 splines, unless these we 1.4 sport ones not 100% sure

they would be 1.4 ones mate. 1.2 1.4s etc are same only 1.6 16vs are different

When he said sport I assumed he meant both engines. Hence my commet of not knowing that as sure some could be

tbh i always thought both sport shafts were the same, does kind of make sense having 1.6 sport shafts and gsi shafts the same though i suppose

Some sport shafts are 22spline last 2 i stripped 1 a 14 1 a 16sport were 22 spline ull find td corsas are 22spline aswel
