Please can someone give me some advice?
(Apologies for the girly explanation )
I noticed recently that my window screen starts steaming up and won't clear when I turn on the blowers. I have also noticed a funny smell when they are on (spicey smell ).
This morning I noticed that when the blowers were on full and hot, the temperature gauge was rising and dropping between 80 - 90ish. And when it was rising the air was hot, and dropping the air was cold. Even though the temperature was on full hot.
I have had problems before with no heat coming from the blowers, this turned out to be the pipes blocked. But this problem seems different with the smell and rising/dropping temperature.
Any ideas what needs fixing?
Thanks

Pollen filter might be causing the smell / window steaming up.

Usually pollen filter as stu said.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Sure it's not a water leak? Heater matrix leaking inside the car maybe? Would explain the smell and dampness

The water has managed to stay in the fill up bottle since 4.30pm yesterday.
If the head gasket goes, doesn't it usually produce steam out of the exhaust?
I will check to see if I have a damp patch

If I didn't think they were different I would of posted, how that relevant is beyond me.
So I should no what every single car part looks like? It's not my job to work with cars, how the fuck would I know without comparing the items.
Like me saying you have no idea how many bolts hold in a starter motor on a 1994 rover
Trying to be knight in shining armour as its a girl quite sad tbh. The way you got even more upset over the Internet was better still
