Not adjusted properly, there should be three 8mm nuts with springs. As you tighten/ loosen then it adjusts the angle of the lense.
Mine sat perfect

its what holds the lense in the surround , there should be 3 bits of threaded bar with springs on them with wingnuts to adjust the lense

Ok, so for anyone else that may ever have a problem and see thread. This is what I did, I used a threaded bar and wing but from other morette the made the lamp sit fully forward and conpletly flush.
But obviously I'm down a wing nut an bar now, but will source these.
It now looks like this on back
