I'm close to purchasing a new axle quite cheap aswell but the guys asked me if it matters the fact that the drums have been blasted on the inside? haven't got much experience with axles and drums so I thought I'd ask you fellas

whats wrong with your axle mate?

Guessing rusted?

Can always swap the drums/stub axles from your current beam onto the new one just to be safe

Put your stub axles and drum setup onto the new beam. It's 4 bolts a side, you wont even have to take the drum off

Ive used blasted discs loads of times and it makes no difference after the first few times you brake its back to normal. assume its the same for drums but never tried it on them.
