depends on the ET , but i fitted 195/45/16 on my nova lowered 40mm
had to cut a bit on the arch but no problem

mate has correct offset 15's with 195/50 and they rubbed front and back, solve some of the rear rubbing by removing the arch liners, then when it got lowered it just rubbed everywhere, way to solve it is too fit adjustable shocks all round. its cos when u lower the torsion bar at the back it doesnt actually stiffen the ride like it does when u change springs.

they shouldnt really rub 17's will go straight on a clio16v/williams and be dropped 1 click on torsion bar and 40mm on the front so 16's on standard clio should be fine migth just catch on bumps though

yeah but they have a lot bigger archs dont they. mate used to have a phase one clio, now has a 16v, the 15's rubbed loads but they dont even come anywhere near rubbing on the 16v.
