DVLA you'll probably need a cover note or reciept for the engine to prove it is what you say it is.

They'll need CC and engine number and then confirmed in either the reciept or cover note on headed paper.

Insurance, you'll need to get a policy that will account for an engine change with companies like Adrian flux, brentacre etc.

You need to tell them what the engine came out of but I can't remember if they need the engine numbers or not. :

Wat do u mean a cover note is that a stamp from a garage?

Basically a letter that says they can confirm the engine number and cc is what you have put on the V5 and yeah from a garage

in terms of insurance. you need to tell them... youll need to tell them what car the engine came out of.. not the engine nymber or anything
