Considering sticking my C.V into wood group for a few positions for onshore engineers etc.
Just wondering what they do exactly onshore?
Its one of the only mechanical engineering jobs to come up locally, but from what i thought, woodgroup were based in aberdeen now.

Another works at WG as an accountant
Another worked there as a project manager
all onshore.
They are in Aberdeen but they are a big company with offices all over the place.

Im a Diesel/HGV mechanic, but looking to move into a different more technical role, so just stuck my cv in for the mechanical/maintaince engineer postions. Having never done a cv or applied for a job before im finding it a bit weird.
Like changing from working on trucks to something else, seems like a huge step, but its all engineering i guess. :/

I applied to their graduate scheme but not heard anything back. Hoping it's due to the large numbers applying to these things and not just they've not bothered to tell me no.
