Back to the thread. Its really impossible to pick some of those.
There were about 3/4 matches i wanted to pick
About 5 of the goals were worth a shout
3 celebrations
3 saves
and I could pick about 2 teams out of that lot

Liverpool 4-3 Newcastle
Shearer v Everton
Wright and Ruddock (although was tempted with Ketsbaia just for how mental it was)
Craig Gordon (although I think Al Habsi from Benayoun yesterday was better than the lot of them tbh)
Team
Schmeichel
R.Jones (former Crewe) Adams, Stam, Pearce
Ronaldo, Le Tiss, Gerrard, Overmars
Shearer and Cantona
Team is impossible to pick really, I could do it again and i'd pick completely different!

not sure why they included the 8-2 match as it wasnt that great a match :/ hilariosu that we have 3 4-4 draws on there
Match: Liverpool 4 - 3 Newcastle
Goal: Bergkamp (of course, much more skill than any of the other goals)
Celebration: Shearer
Save: Craig Gordon
Team:
Schmeical
Neville
Adams
Stam
Cole
Ronaldo
Vieira
Scholes
Pires
Henry
Shearer
Stick your wanky french Cantona up your arse Vieira over Keane perhaps my only really contentious point IMO

Goal of 2 decades is a fucking shin in. Booooo. Was far better than that in that list. This is what happens when you put it up to a public vote, the one who wins is the one who plays for the team with the most fans!

Half the voters probs werent born when half those goals were scored!

Agreed. It was a cracking goal because it was unexpected and ended up in the postage stamp, but he sclaffed it.
There were 2 better goals this week never mind from 20 seasons

Henry's goal makes me laugh too, not even in the top 3 of goals he scored for us
Blackburn 2007, Sparta Prague are just 2 examples (admittedly SP wasnt PL but still) and then, of course, there was the spuds and liverpool goals where he took it form the half way line

Theres a shortlist for best season ever on SSN this morning.
Apparently Arsenal going unbeaten isn't worthy of even being shortlisted but Jose Mourinho winning his first title with Chelsea is!

Its obvious Jamie - Doing something that no other team has ever done in the premiership with spending of only around 10 million that year is no where near as important as a manager coming along and spending 130 million on players (equivalent to around 200+now) in 1 season and winning the league
