I was expecting to have to come back another time to collect it but they offered me the display one, so I could take it away today. I was tempted to ask for a fresh out of the box one but it was mint so agreed. They whipped it into the back, PDI'd it and put the correct air into the shock and off I went.
I get a free check up for the bike after 6 weeks then first service half price. Going to get the shock set up exactly for my weight at 6 week check up.
The blonde hotty wsn't there.

Might go the long way home and drop by the bike shop as something was clipping on the brake disc, either something not right or I've not put the wheel back in properly and what's wrong with us welsh riders? Cheeky

These forks and hydraulic/disc brakes are all new to me!
Had to get the guy to explain the forks to me, and how to adjust damper etc.

Yeah...one of the reasons I went for the Race is due to the Fox Shock. Everyone i've spoken to says they are the dogs danglies.
Guy in shop was saying as long as you look after them they don't need much maintenance/servicing.

Get one then. Made it back in one piece, only problem with my route to work is you have to either cut across the town centre or ride up stupidly steep hills, I should really opt for the hills but I'm not fit enough yet haha.
