Should be the 4wd version if it's a 2.5

Is it a manual or an auto?

I'd class it as a good thing, same with it being a manual.

I'm pritty sure only the 2.5/3.0 came with 4wd

They are nice cars but share parts with Mondeos (this is not a bad thing!)

Look at resale values though...they are heavy to keep on the road therefore the residual value is low on them

They are based on the circa year 2000 Mondeo's, but only share a small amount of parts.

Wouldn't put me off tbh, think they look like alot of car for not alot of money.

They are all 4WD's IIRC, and all of the Petrols are V6's.

Sports look nicer but SE's are pretty comfy, my dad had one a few years ago, lashings of cream leather and wood everywhere!

Always wanted a 3.0 Sport

Lol, I can't see any mondeo in it tbh, if that's how you base a car, dependant on what platform it's based on, then you will be disappointed with plenty of cars, it's all about what each manufacturer does with the body and the interior,

Mondeo's are good cars. Wouldn't put me off buying a car that shares the same platform.

the x type is 8% mondeo based jaguar's own admission it shares some componants with the 2000 onwards mk3 mondeo like front subframe some suspension bushs etc etc . Trust me i drive an x type 3.0 and have tryed to use mondeo parts in some areas and they do not fit!
