Lately my mfd has been losing power and memory when i turn the ignition off. It also does the same sort of thing out of nowhere when driving. Takes a solid tap on the shroud to make it light up again, but the memory is often gone. Any ideas?

Loose wire? Plugs not plugged in properly?
