Its that time of year again, and since last year ive changed car to the Corsa Gsi..

now my current provider (flux) have quoted me £735 fully comp, 3rd party ext, break down, windscreen etc..

They've always been pretty good to me, but i personally think this is a little too much to be paying on a 1.6 corsa.

ive done the usual go compare etc and havent done any better, some quoting 3k!!

Im 28, full clean license, 5 years no claims.. is this a good price and im over thinking the situation??

Any advice etc welcome.

735 is far too much at that age on that car, about 3x.

Postcode is a big factor though.

not cheaper to go fully comp ? sounds silly but sometimes makes a difference. also use comparison websites to help with quotes, I found its cheaper to park on the road than my drive

plus I find confused.com to be best when quoting as it keeps all you historical quotes so you can refer quickly between changes

Axa but whilst they gave me the cheapest renewal price of all, if I search them out on comparison sites, they're always several hundred more than I pay

Elephant or Admiral.

Admiral always seem to be the cheapest but elephant is their sister company so they just match the quote for me.

Been with Flux most of my life but Aviva were the best this year... Clio 182, 27 years old, 7 years NCB = £390.

Plus I like Aviva because any changes you want to make during is totally free!
