im running a corsa b with phase 3, running 16psi boost and on the road seems very quick.
got gaz coilys all round.
trying to get a 6 speed with lsd.
stripped out.
What sort of 1/4 mile time should i be aiming for?
obviously i know driver is key.

also any launch tips and rpm gear change tips?

get some r888s or equivalents
jack the back end up

depends where you're running it tbh as the surface makes a big difference to how you launch it. them kkk turbos and std inlet make peak about 6k, so somewhere around there for changes ideally.

as Nic mentioned..

raise the rear to get weight on the driven wheels.

Lose as much weight as you can
lower tyre pressures to about 15psi (or +/- to suit)

key is to minimise wheelspin but have enough not to get bogged down. Being high power FWD will mean you cant just boot off the line... use the clutch (slip) to try and make it gradual.

If you have fancy boost control look into limiting the boost 'till your up and on your way

have slicks for front, and yeah i know all the jack rear up, thats all good. gonna adjust the coilys to hardest setting on rear too so theres no squating what so ever, just wanna get a few decent times really. i dont have a fancy boost control, but maybe something im going to look at. Cheers chaps. anyone got any times with that sort of setup?

what slicks?

Things like ex-BTCC may not be of benifit if you cant get them hot.

You do want some weight transfer too - experiment soft front/rear etc
