Has anyone cut glass headlight lenses before?

I want to put a air intake in a spare headlight, like you see on a lot of jap car, about a 70-80mm hole.

Any tips on how to do it?

can you not get an angel eye headlight lens (usually plastic) cut that and stick it to the back of a normal headlight backing, thats if you can seperate the original glass from it in the first place

Me and Shrek cut glass. Tricky but not impossible.

Low rpm, shit loads of lube and patience of a saint. Mine snagged at the last second and cracked. It's not massive and barely noticeable.

Pillar drill will make life easier also.

70mm diamond hole saw is about £7 on Amazon. That's about £20 cheaper than B&Q etc
