Looking at getting some new shocks. Can't afford anything as good as Gaz, Avo etc unfortunately.

Would be good to hear people's reviews of shocks made by companies like Jamex, Fk etc.

Don't want coilovers, just some shortened uprated shocks that will give a comfortable ride, not one that's spine breaking and bouncy.

Thanks

my jamexs are decent like

depends on budget and what you want them for. some uprated dampers arent shortened and dont like going too low

Car will only be going down about 40mm or so.

Used to have Jamex shocks with 40mm nova springs and the ride was quite bouncy, not sure if it was down to the springs or shocks.

I've got some springs lined up so would just need shocks, don't mind buying second hand but I can get brand new fk shocks for about £80. Def don't want to be spending more than £100.

I'd get some decent 2nd hand ones, I sold my spax ones the other day for £20 that were great for shocks and springs

You sold some Spax shocks for £20?! You on drugs Darryl?

Would love to get some Spax shocks but they still normally sell for quite a lot. Some Spax Krypton would be good so that the stiffness is adjustable.
